Inci Toral introduces the second issue of the BBS Special Issue of the Education in Practice Journal.
The 2nd Special Issue of Education in Practice Birmingham Business School celebrates the excellent educational scholarship presented at the 5th Birmingham Business School Education Conference in 2025. Reflecting the conference theme, “Shaping Business Learning: Authentic, Responsible, Future-Focused”, the collection showcases diverse and impactful contributions that address some of the most important opportunities and challenges facing higher education today, from authentic learning and assessment to AI, sustainability, inclusion and employability. By bringing these conference contributions to a wider audience, the special issue highlights the value of sharing educational practice through both presentation and publication. We encourage colleagues attending future Birmingham Business School Education Conferences to view the conference not only as a space for discussion and networking, but also as a pathway to disseminating their work through peer-reviewed publication and contributing to the growing community of educators shaping the future of business education.
